BJP Workers Tried to Attacked AIMIM MLA Ahmed Pasha Quadri at Laldarwaza

Hyderabad: Slight tensions erupted in Sultan Shahi in the old city on Thursday when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists clashed with AIMIM’s Yakutpura lawmaker Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri over the state government’s distribution of money rs 10,000.

The incident took place around 11pm when Qadri, accompanied by GHMC officials and local public representatives, went to inaugurate Basti hospital.

A group of BJP workers chanted slogans against him and approached Qadri seeking clarification on the distribution of relief money. Locals complained that they did not receive the money and alleged that there were discrepancies in the distribution.

AMIM activists returned fire with slogans in favor of Qadri, raising tensions in the area. Police from nearby police stations soon rushed to the spot and took Qadri out.

As a precautionary measure, police have been deployed in the area to ensure peace.
