Registration of non-agriculture lands on Dharani registration are begining from 23 Nov

Hyderabad: From 23 november,Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to start the entrollment of non-agriculture lands on Dharani portal. Next monday,the state chief secretary, Somesh Kumar, will begins the registration process.

KCR launched the portal on 2 October. It will work in one place for all land related matters including mutation and registration.

According to the state government, this portal will end massive corruption and innumerable land disputes in the department. Be that as it may, some civil society is questioning the efficiency of the portal and the government’s intent. The portal is part of the new revenue bill passed by the Telangana Assembly in September 2020, which is awaiting assurances from the Governor and is to be notified as an Act.

The Chief Minister discussed the matter with the concerned officials at a high-level review meeting held at Pragati Bhawan here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, KCR said, “The process of registration of agricultural lands through the Dharani portal begins by the government has become popular among the people and it has received a good result. People in Telangana think that historical era has begun in land registration. They are happy that the process of registration through Dharani has provided protection to their lands.

He said, “The response coming from the field-level is amazing. The Dharni portal has overcome the initial problems early on. In three to four days it will clear all these issues. We have only started registration of non-agricultural land Has decided. ” All matters related to the portal have been approved after receiving. Therefore, we waited for a few days. On November 23, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will launch the registration process for non-agricultural land.
