Hyderabad: Three girls Drowned in Ali Sagar Lake in Bodhan town when they fell into Ali Sagar Project in the district while taking selfies at the boating point of the project on Sunday evening.
Two girls were from Hyderabad and Visited their relatives at Rakasipet in Bodhan town on Sunday. The families had gone on Outing to Ali Sagar Project.
They took a boat ride in the project waters and were Trying to take selfies when one of the girls Accidently fell into the water. Two other girls who were trying to rescue her also fell into the reservoir. As none of them knew swimming, they drowned. The deceased were identified as Jubera (16), Meraj (14) and Mashra (12).
The Deceased girls are related to a Bodhan municipal ward councilor.
