from today non-COVID services will allowed in gandhi hospital

Hyderabad: The city’s COVID treatment junction – Gandhi Hospital, which has stopped non-COVID treatment, now reopens after about eight months.This hospital is in Secunderabad and it is going to start non-COVID treatment from Saturday, which were closed since March 2, as the hospital only deals with COVID treatments.

from saturday ,After the sanitization of the entire hospital, now it opened for all outpatient, inpatient, elective and emergency surgeries.

On Friday, Dr.raja rao Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital said that it was difficult to provide covid and non-covid healthcare service, the hospital will do its best to provide a safe and infection-free environment for non-covid patients. “We will do our best to provide treatment to non-covid patients. However, we need support from the general public, as they need to maintain covid-appropriate behavior”.

He spoke of the guidelines and restrictions, saying that they would be a separate entry and exit way for COVID patients and only one participant with the patient would be allowed. Also, with no visitng hours, no family or friends can come to visit the patients.

New Gandhi Hospital guidelines for non-COVID treatment are listed below:

> No entry without a mask.

> No visiting hours.

>A patient will have only one attendant ,

> Separate exits and entry for covid and non-covid patients.

>extensive markings put up to guide patients.

>Outpatient, inpatient, elective and emergency surgeries set to start.

>sanitisation of non covid areas taken up.
