Hyderabad: Prior to the GHMC elections,on tuesday, Rachakonda Police has organized flag march at various places in the Commissionerate.
Police Commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwat along with TSSP platoon, City Armed Reserve, Mounted Police and Law and Order Police personnel conducted a march at a distance of about five kilometers to cover four GHMC wards under sensitive areas.
Bhagwat said the flag march was aimed at instilling confidence in the people ahead of the elections. “In a democracy, the right to vote is the responsibility of every citizen and they should vote for a better tomorrow”.
Malkajigiri DCP Rakshita Murthy and other senior police officials were present. 129 Civil Police Force and 121 TSSP will be deployed at sensitive and sensitive polling stations.
