Kcr gives free hand to police to deal with Divisive forces

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has instructed the police officials to take stern action against certain anarchic forces, which are, out of deep despair and disappointment, trying to create clashes and incite communal tensions in the Telangana State.

The CM said that the government has definite information about these anarchic elements. He said that the maintenance of Law and Order in the State is Govt.’s top priority and any attempts to disturb peace and harmony should be dealt with an iron hand.

“During the GHMC polls, certain leaders are trying to get political mileage through several conspiracies. At first, they have used social media to spread fake news. They tried to influence people with morphed photos. Later they have indulged in provocative actions.Peace-loving Hyderabadis did not fall for their provocative speeches and false propaganda. Attempts to buy voters with money too failed. As whipping up of communal passions too failed, they are stooping down to create communal clashes to derive political mileage.

The CM also urged the people to be alert and cautious against the communal forces. Wanted them, especially the youth, not to fall prey to these elements. Also appealed to the political parties to fight the polls transparently and in the spirit of democracy.
