Hyderabad: today Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar inspected Sanathnagar DRCC Center which used as the storage of the ballot box of GHMC elections along withDCP Balanagar PV Padmaja, Balangar, ADCP A. Ramana Reddy Central Zone Hyderabad, ACP Purushottam, ACP Saifabad C.Venu gopal reddy,ACP balanagar traffic srinivasa reddy and other police officers.
The strong rooms set up at the GHMC Multi Sports Complex DRCC Center at Sanathnagar have ballot boxes of four wards Somajiguda, Ameerpet, Sanathnagar and Khairatabad. The CP directed the TSSP and the Law and Order Police to ensure the safety and security of the strong rooms.
Three-tier security arrangements have been made to protect ballot boxes in strong rooms. Teams patrolling in the first class will guard, barricades will be arranged in the second level and the Cyberabad Law and Order and Civil Police will protect them and TSSP force will guard the strong rooms in the third tier.
Sajjanar said that ballots of four wards of Somajiguda, Ameerpet, Sanathnagar, Khairtabad were shifted to the center with heavy security and no person was allowed to go near the strong room.
On the day of counting, section 144 will be applicable within a radius of 1 kilometer around the counting center. Sanathnagar Inspector Chandra Shekhar Reddy, and other officials were present at the inspection.
