Hyderabad: PM Narendra Modi said on Friday that India’s vaccination program against covid-19 would start moving ahead as soon as scientists arrived, and claimed that health workers involved in treating coronovirus patients, frontline workers and older people suffering from critical conditions will be Vaccinated on priority.
In his concluding remarks at an all-party meeting with leaders of various political parties to discuss the state of the covid-19 pandemic in the country, Modi said that experts believe the wait for the covid-19 vaccine will not be long and It may be ready in a few weeks.He said three vaccines from India were also being tested.he also said that about eight vaccines are being tested at various stages and their preparation has been assured in India.
India’s vaccination campaign will begin as scientists move forward. The center is working on suggestions from state governments on who will be vaccinated in the first phase of the vaccination campaign, he said.
