TRS lost due to flood relief mishandling

Hyderabad: Allegations of misrepresentation of flood relief and allegations by party workers and leaders have failed to provide cash assistance to the affected people, which seems to have sparked outrage among voters. As a result, the TRS has emerged as the single largest party. Losing about 43 seats.

The party leadership, which made an immediate preliminary analysis of the results, seems to think that there is a difference between the cadre and the party leadership.

Otherwise, there was no reason for him to lose by a very small margin of 200 to 300 votes or less in almost 15 wards. In some wards, the TRS has lost to the BJP by 10 to 12 votes, according to its working president KT Rama Rao.

The split in the flood-affected areas, including Uppal, Musarambagh, Mansoorabad, Hayatnagar, Vanasthalipuram, Hastinapuram and Saroornagar, shocked the ruling party.

During the flood, ruling party leaders confronted residents in LB Nagar and Uppal assembly constituencies and also proved how angry the residents were with the ruling party.

The TRS MLA of Uppal B Subhash Reddy faced criticism from residents over visiting the flood-affected areas. Incidentally, the Congress party won by Uppal Partition. Subhash Reddy’s wife B Swapna Reddy lost election to Habsiguda.

In a major blow to the ruling party, the BJP won the division of Musarambagh, Mansoorabagh, Vanasthalipuram, Saroornagar and Hayatnagar.

Although TRS leaders claimed relief fund to 6.5 lakh people and also promised to provide benefits to the affected from 7 December, voters have not taken their assurances seriously. Locals had alleged that many did not get flood relief. However, TRS managed to retain its seats in Old City
