Hyderabad: The state government said on Monday that Telangana reported 517 new COVID-19 cases, with the tally being around 2.74 lakh, while the two fatal ones took the toll to 1,474.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 102, followed by Rangareddy -57 and Medchal Malkajgiri- 36, the bulletin said, providing details as of 8 am on 6 December.
On Sunday, 7,778 patients are undergoing treatment and 33,098 samples were examined.In total, more than 58.12 lakh samples have been tested.
The recovery rate in Telangana was 96.62 percent, while it was 94.4 percent in the country.
The Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were over 1.56 lakhs.The case fatality rate in the state was 0.53 percent, while at the national level it was 1.5 percent.
