Hyderabad: A Hyderabad-based woman has appealed to the central government for help in finding her husband who is an Afghan citizen and who left no resources to care for her and her three children.
the woman, Rafia Sultana, alleged that she married Hussain Ali in October 1986 and had three children.
“He was working in Kuwait and used to come to India to see us and also take care of our expenses. In 1999 he moved to Australia and changed his name to Mohammad Hussain Habibi.she had twice tried to reach her husband through the Australian embassy in New Delhi but to no avail.
Since 2007 their contact numbers have not been working. I have tried to put an end to a life of struggles. My elder daughter is married. My other two the daughters are yet to be married. They said, “My son has no financial support. I request the Government of India to locate her husband.
