Hyderabad: Five people were died after a car collided with a lorry at Wipro Circle near Gachibowli in the wee hours of Sunday. It is said that the car turtle overturned due to lorry.police reached the spot and took rescue measures.
The accident happened when the car jumped a red signal and the tipper coming in the opposite direction crashed into it, the police said. All five persons in the car received severe injuries in the crash. Four of them died on the spot and another person died undergoing treatment.
All the victims are residents of Ayyappa Society.The deceased were identified as Santosh-25years, Manohar-22years, Bhardwaj-20years, Roshan and Pawan.The accident occurred around 3 am on Sunday. Police suspected that the accident occurred due to the over speed of the vehicle.
The body was transferred to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. The investigation is on.
