Raja Singh,bandi Sanjay, BJP corporator visits Bhagyalakshmi temple

Hyderabad: Newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh and party’s state chief bandi Sanjay Kumar visited Bhagyalakshmi temple today.

On this occasion, bandi Sanjay targeted All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). He also reiterated his stand on renaming Hyderabad City as Bhagyanagar.

In the recently held GHMC elections,BJP performed exceptionally well. Its seat share in the 150-member GHMC increased from four to 48.

However, when the zone-wise election results were analyzed, it was found that the party won 29 seats from two zone i.e. LB Nagar with 15 ward and Secunderabad with 14 wards.

Charminar and Khairtabad zone the BJP managed to win seven and nine wards.

The saffron party’s performance was the worst in Serilingampally and Kukatpally. In these areas, the TRS won the majority of seats.
