Hyderabad: Telangana registered 627 new covid 19 cases, amounting to more than 2.80 lakhs, while four related mortality rates brought the toll to 1,510.
From government bulletin providing details on Saturday, December 18 at 8 pm,the GHMC accounted for the most cases with 123, followed by Rangareddy 52 and Medchal Malkajgiri 48.
On Friday, 6,942 patients are undergoing treatment and 46,694 samples were tested.
In total, more than 6.4 million samples have been tested.
The bulletin states that the samples tested per million population were about 1.72 lakh.
The case mortality rate in the state was 0.53% while at the national level it was 1.5%.
The recovery rate in Telangana was 96.99 %, compared to 95.5% in the country.
