Hyderabad: The state government said on Monday that Telangana reported 316 fresh covid-19 cases, amounting to more than 2.81 lakh, while two plagues pushed the toll to 1,515.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 86 followed by Rangareddy -30 and Medchal Malkajgiri -22 in the bulletin providing details as of 8 pm on 20 December.
On Sunday, about 6,590 patients are undergoing treatment and 32,714 samples were tested.more than 64.75 lakh samples have been tested.
Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were around 1.74 lakh.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.53%, while at the national level it was 1.5%.The recovery rate in Telangana was 97.12 %, while it was 95.5% in the country.
