Hyderabad: Hyderabad police petitioned before court to take into custody 11 people arrested after raiding call centers and companies in Hyderabad and Gurgaon.
The police also found that the Gurgaon-based call centers are run by a female Chinese citizen who is monitoring operations from China on a regular basis. Police are awaiting details of transactions from banks to know more about money flow.
Cyberabad police have allegedly detained some more people for questioning in connection with cases of quick loan app fraud and harassment lodged in various police stations.
Police have so far arrested six people while special teams set up to investigate the scam are visiting various cities as part of the investigation. Police have also identified bank accounts withdrawing money from companies and asked banks to submit details.
