Hyderabad: Out of 1216 United Kingdom returnees-937 have been tracked and tested and 18 found positive for COVID19 (including previous16).Out of 79 immediate contacts,3 tested positive,rest all have put under strict quarantine.All positive samples sent to CCMB-for Genome-sequencing.
Three Person Died due to Covid-19 while 518 new infections were Recorded in Telangana on Friday, health officials said. The fresh fatalities pushed the state’s tally to 1,527.
The fatality rate remained 53 per cent against the national average of 1.4 per cent.
According to director of public health and family welfare, 44.96 per cent of the deaths occurred due to Coronavirus while 55.04 per cent had comorbidities.
During the last 24 hours, 518 new positive cases were reported from across the state. With this, the state’s tally has gone up to 2,84,074.
