Rachakonda police foils man’s suicide bid

Hyderabad: on Saturday, man tried to end his life by placing himself on the railway tracks at Ghatkesar was rescued by the Rachakonda police.

According to police officials, Moguloth Sudhakar 43years old from Balajinagar, Ghatkesar went to the railway track at the Kondapur railway gate in Ghatkesar and lay down on the railway track waiting for the train.

Some locals saw Sudhakar and called the police. A team of Blue Colts comprising Constable Parveen Goud and Home Guard Abbas Ali reached the spot in four minutes.

He said that the team forcibly removed the man from the spot and shifted him to the police station. After calling the man’s family, he was counselled and handed over. He added that Sudhakar had some personal problems and had planned to end his life.

The high officials appreciated the good work of the policemen and said that they would be given appropriate reward for their prompt action.
