Hyderabad: An unknown person was injured after allegedly falling off a metro rail track at Taranaka station here on Wednesday night. Police suspect that he was mentally unstable and may have attempted suicide.
Police said the aged man in his twenties was suspected of landing at the metro station and getting on the rail tracks. The staff who saw him immediately followed him and tried to catch him. Police said he started speeding to escape and then jumped off the tracks.
He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Osmania University Police is investigating
