Hyderabad: In one week, 3571 drunk driving cases have been registered in Cyberabad police limits.
According to the Cyberabad Traffic Police, with the aim of curbing drunk driving and improving road safety, a special campaign against drunk driving was going on for the seventh consecutive day since it was launched before the new year.
From Sunday night to Monday morning, 346 individuals were booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Officials said that most of these motorists were in the age group of 26-45, most of which were two-wheelers.
The traffic police said that this operation will continue till the cyber attack on drunk drivers is completely controlled.
