Hyderabad: fire broke out at the Urology Operation Theater of Gandhi Hospital late on Wednesday night.
No casualties were reported, but equipment was damaged.
According to Fire and Rescue Services officials, there is a possibility of a fire from a short circuit, which led to a fire in the operation theater on the third floor.
People in the hospital premises informed the management who called the fire control room.A firearm was immediately dispatched to the spot and the situation was brought under control within minutes.
Officials said no one was injured and no casualties were reported. An estimate of damaged material is yet to be made.
