Hyderabad: The health department and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) sleuths seized D-Mart outlets in Kushaiguda on Thursday to sell rotten dates.
Officers seized the outlet after acting on a complaint lodged by a customer on worm-filled dates
The customer went to D-Mart in Kushaiguda on 30 December. He bought 20 packets of kimia dates along with other household items.
The phone switched off after calling the customer care number to make a complaint. He also complained to the authorities for not pursuing quality standards against kimia dates and taking action against Kushaiguda D-Mart for fraudulent sales.
