Hyderabad: On sunday midnight unidentified men stabbed a man to death near Pillar No. 248 in Rajendra Nagar.
The victim was identified as Mohammad Khaleel.
Police suspect the murder was due to financial reasons.
Police said the suspected killers chased Khaleel before suddenly attacking and stabbing him. He died on the spot due to multiple bleeding.
Upon receiving the information, Rajendra Nagar police reached the spot and registered a case. Surveillance camera footage in the surrounding area is being examined to identify the killers.
Shamshabad DCP N Prakash Reddy visited the murdered site.
Teams have been deployed to track down the killers and resolve the case as soon as possible, the DCP said. The body was shifted to a morgue at Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
