Hyderabad: As of 8 pm on Saturday, around 299 fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported, with a cumulative number of cases of 2,91,666. A total of 1,577 died, with two death in a single day And 379 individuals took the retrieval count to 2,85,898 in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 4,191 active cases, of which 2,395 are in-home or institutional segregation.
Between Friday and Saturday, 33,298 tests were conducted, including 14,651 tests on primary contacts and 2,395 on secondary contacts.
However, 299 results came out positive and 516 reports are pending.
Positive cases reported across the state included GHMC-57, 26 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 24 in Karimnagar, 18 from Rangareddy, 11 each from Sangareddy, Mancherial and Bhadradri Kothagudem, 10 from Warangal Urban, Siddipet and Khammam, 9 from Peddapalli.
