Hyderabad: Demand for 10 million units of power supply is expected to increase daily in Greater Hyderabad in the coming summer. It is likely to cross 250 million units (MU) per day during peak summers in the state.

All commercial establishments, cinema halls, schools and colleges are expected to be functional in the upcoming summer and agricultural activities, with officials preparing to meet the electricity demand of 260 MUs, including 70 to 80 MUs in the city alone. .
“The shortage in power supply experienced by consumers in the city and elsewhere in the state will be minimized during summer as drastic improvements and pre-heat maintenance works have been taken up.
