Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in New Colony, Miapur on Saturday, fearing that her mother would advise her to allegedly damage her neighbour’s son’s mobile phone.
The girl, a Class VI student and her neighbor’s son, was playing when his mobile phone slipped from her hands and he fell down, causing damage. Enraged at this, the boy informs her that he will bring the matter to his mother’s attention.
Fearing her mother would scold her, she went into her room and took drastic action, according to police.
