Hyderabad: The Center today released Rs 1,751.05 crore for rain and floods in the states of the country including Telangana.
The state of Telangana was allocated Rs 245.96 crore for food relief, while it demanded more. The Center allocated these funds after which Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting in Delhi.
The Center has released a total of Rs 1751.05 crore to the states for relief
Other states received flood relief funds – Uttar Pradesh Rs 386.06 crore, Odisha Rs 320.94 crore, Arunachal Pradesh Rs 75.86 crore and Assam Rs 437.15 crore respectively.
