Hyderabad: Many people are going to Aadhaar enrollment centers in Hyderabad after the government made OTP certification mandatory for obtaining ration from Fair Price Shops (FPS).
The process of biometric verification has been terminated from 1 February.
According to a report, Mohammad Zaheeruddin, who runs FPS in Hassannagar, Rajendranagar, said that the new authentication method is very difficult. He also said that many people can neither get an OTP number on their registered mobile number nor approve the IRIS process.
It has also been reported that the entire Telangana state has 16,991 FPS.
It is noteworthy that last month, the government issued a circular making OTP or IRIS based authentication.
