Hyderabad: In the wake of the GHMC mayoral elections, the city’s traffic police imposed a traffic ban yesterday near Tank Bund at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation office.
Police urged citizens to take alternate routes to reach their destination. The traffic diversity in the city near the tank bund is as follows
Traffic coming from Upper Tank Bund will be diverted Ambedkar Statue Junction towards telugu talli junction and traffic from Lower Tank Bund towards Ambedkar Statue will be diverted from Katta Maisamma towards Telugu Talli Flyover.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Himayat Nagar towards Ambedkar statue will be diverted to Liberty Junction towards Basheerbagh – PCR Junction and Ravindra Bharti and vehicles going from Basheerbagh to Ambedkar Statue will be diverted Basheerbagh Junction to PCR Junction – Ravindra Bharati.
Traffic from Telugu Talli Junction towards Adarsh Nagar will be diverted towards Iqbal Minar and Ravindra Bharti and traffic from PCR towards Telugu Talli towards Adarsh Nagar will be diverted towards Ravindra Bharti and Iqbal Minar. And through the Basheerbagh flyover, traffic from the BJR statue going to the Ambedkar statue advised to take the road next to the Basheerbagh flyover and turn left at Basheerbagh junction and go towards the PCR junction – Ravindra Bharati and Iqbal Minar.
