Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy allegedly injured himself with a razor at his home in Bandlaguda Jagir in Narsingi on Monday midnight.
Sources said the boy, who had an argument with his mother, allegedly kept playing games on his mobile phone for a long time, after which he grabbed the razor and cut both of his thighs. Hearing the sound of his crying, the neighbors rushed to the house and found him soaked in blood on the floor, after which the ambulance was called and sent to the hospital.
Narsingi Police has started investigation. Earlier, there were reports that he was attacked by his mother, who was reportedly in critical condition, but later in his statement to the hospital on Tuesday, he told police that they were self-inflicted injuries.
