Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said today that they are banning rallies and procession organizations in the state capital keeping in mind the model code of conduct and upcoming MLC elections to be held on March 14 next month.
In a statement, he said that the ban orders will come into effect from Saturday and he said that they will remain in force till the elections are over.
He said that those who want to hold any kind of meeting or rallies, should get prior permission from the District Election Officer or Returning Officer of the constituency.
