Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a woman threw her nephew to her death on Tuesday from a building in the old city of Hyderabad.
Three-year-old Mohammad Noumaan died on the spot after she was allegedly thrown from the second floor of his house in Kumarawadi Colony in Edi Bazar area.
The 22 years old Ayesha was arrested by the police for the murder of the child. She reportedly confessed to throwing the child from the building.
The victim’s relatives alleged that Ayesha murdered her brother-in-law’s son with envy. Ayesha was married to Ahmeduddin a year ago.
Ahmeduddin’s brother Mohammed Itesham was also staying with his family in the same building.
An aunt of the victim said that Ayesha was jealous of the child because all the family members loved her and she had no children.
A case was registered at Bhavani Nagar Police Station. A police officer said that they were investigating.
