Hyderabad: Task force police on Saturday seized Rs 66.11 lakh from the house of an RMP doctor Koda Anjaneynulu in Vinayaknagar of Husnabad, Siddipet.
On a specific notice, the task force and the civil police jointly conducted a raid under the leadership of ACP Mahendra.
ACP Mahendra said that they had seized Rs 66,11,100 from the doctor’s house and handed over the money to the IT officials. The cash was seized after the doctor failed to produce valid documents related to the cash.
Officials said it was not known where the money came from. The RMP doctor was taken into custody and is being questioned by the police.
