Heatwave warning issued in parts of Telangana for 2 days

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad on Saturday issued a heatwave alert for the next 48 hours.

Accordingly, the temperature in some parts of Telangana is likely to reach the maximum on Sunday and Monday. Therefore, the authorities asked people to stay indoors.
Temperatures are expected to be three degrees Celsius above normal in two days. Weathermen attributed the flow of winds from the southeast direction.

IMD also predicted that the temperature would rise further for the next one week.

In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 38.5 ° C in Bhadrachalam followed by 38 ° C in Adilabad and 35 ° C in Khammam.
