Telangana activist Dr. Chiranjeevi passed away

Hyderabad: Dr. who fought for the state of Telangana during the 1969 movement. Dr.Kolluri Chiranjeevi died in a private hospital after a brief illness.

He was 74, native of Warangal, he played an active role in the 1969 Telangana movement and fought as a student leader while studying MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College.

Later, he also worked as the convenor of the Move Telangana Movement Founders’ Forum in 1969.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has given Condolences on Chiranjeevi’s death.

He said that Chiranjeevi’s life was ideal for the society, as he was a qualified doctor who lived for the good of the society.

He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members. TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao, minister T Harish Rao, Etala Rajender and many other Telangana activists also expressed their condolences.

The state government has recently given Financial assistance for the treatment of Chiranjeevi
