Hyderabad: Two youths died after being run over by an RTC bus in Chadarghat late on Wednesday.
According to police, Mohammed Altaf Ahmed 14 years old and Shoaib 20 years old, both students and residents of Old Malpet, were returning to their homes on motorcycles after attending a wedding-related ceremony when the accident occurred near the Sohail Hotel on Malakpet Road.
“Ahmed’s sister’s wedding was fixed on Friday and friends went to a wedding-related ceremony. While they were returning, an RTC bus hit their bike”Chadarghat police said, adding that the bus driver was taken into custody.
The bodies were shifted to the mortuary of Osmania General Hospital and later handed over to the relatives after autopsy.
