Hyderabad: Two months after the wedding, a couple were killed in a road accident when they were riding on bikes and rammed into electric poles.
The incident took place on Thursday night when he was returning home from a temple.
According to the police, the two, who belong to Manchala Mandal in Rangareddy district, got married on 9 January. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, the couple went to a nearby temple and later went to visit their relatives in Yadadari district.
Police said the speeding bike and rammed with electric pole when they were returning home. The couple died on the spot due to serious head injury.
SI Suresh registered a case and started investigation. The bodies were sent to the government hospital in Ibrahimpatnam.
