Hyderabad: A young man was injured after crashed into a pillar of the PVNR Expressway in Mehdipatnam here in the wee hours of Friday.
A young employee, identified as Rohit, was on his way from Asif Nagar towards Mehdipatnam when the accident occurred.
At around 1 am, when the car reached Pillar number 33, Rohit, who was driving at a high speed, lost control of the steering wheel and crashed forward.
Fortunately for him, the airbags in the car opened up and he survived the crash with injuries.
Motorists passing by saw him and took him to the hospital.
Asif Nagar Police said that no complaint has been filed yet. They were investigating if they were driving under the influence of alcohol.
