Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 157 fresh coronavirus positive cases and one death, bringing the total fatalities to 1,654 by 8 pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, recovery cases increased to 2,97,681 with 166 recovering in a single day. Currently, there are 1,983 active cases of which 718 are in home or institutional segregation.
Between Saturday and Sunday, about 38,517 tests were conducted, of which 157 samples had positive results and 237 reports were awaited. So far 92,38,982 trials have been conducted in the state since the epidemic.
Positive cases reported across the state included 35 from GHMC, 12 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 11 from Rangareddy, 9 from Khammam and Sangareddy, 8 from Nizamabad, 7 from Adilabad, 6 from Mancherial, Nalgonda and Warangal Urban, 5 each from Jagtial,vikarabad and urban.
