Hyderabad: A police constable officer of Bahadurpura police station was booked at Vanasthalipuram here on Friday for arguing with the police besides driving a drunk vehicle and creating a nuisance on the road.
The constable, identified as Arun 27 years old, residence of malakpet had gone on a long drive towards Deer Park in Vanasthalipuram, where he got into an argument with some transgender persons, said by incident drivers on the road.
On receiving the information, a patrol mobile car from Vanasthalipuram reached the spot and Arun allegedly argued with them in an inebriated condition.
He was sent for a breath analyzer test at the Traffic Police Station, Vanasthalipuram, where he was found to be intoxicated.
The Vanasthalipuram police have registered a case under sections of the IPC and Motor Vehicles Act and initiated an investigation.
