No plans for night curfew in Hyderabad make it clear to Mahmood Ali

Hyderabad: Telangana State Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Sunday informed that the government has no immediate plans to impose curfew at night.

Speaking to the media after laying the foundation of the Bharosa Center in the Mirchowk area of ​​Old City, Mahmood Ali said that although there is an upsurge in COVID-19 cases across India and in neighboring Maharashtra, the state has no plans on any given night Curfew in Hyderabad. Mahmood Ali said that the police have no intention of imposing a curfew as it badly affect the lives of the people. He said that the public can play an important role in controlling the increase in cases.

Explaining that the imposition of curfew would affect life and business in the city, Mahmood Ali requested the public, especially from the Old City, to take precautions, avoid gatherings and immediately use face masks.

He further said that in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 in schools, in a day or two, the state government will take a final decision whether to allow schools.
