Chief Minister KCR says there is no more lockdown in Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that there would be no lockdown in the state and assured that no hasty decision would be taken in this regard.

However, he urged the people to strictly follow the covid-19 security norms and avoid mass celebrations.

Self-discipline and self-control are the only solutions to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state. People should wear masks, clean their hands and maintain physical distance without fail.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the Assembly on Friday, said that the government was forced to temporarily close schools as a precaution in view of rising Corona cases.

He said that the state government has no immediate plans to impose any further restrictions on other areas, but all want covid-19 to strictly follow the security norms.
Chandrasekhar Rao said that the whole world was suffering from the adverse effects of coronovirus and Telangana was not immune to this affect.

However, but Telangana was one of the best performing states, in which the virus was effectively spread. He said that the state also performed well in terms of the spread and economic development of covid.
He said that about 10.85 lakh people have been vaccinated as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other officials of the Center are in constant touch with the state government. Vaccines are being issued equally among all states and Telangana is also getting vaccine quota on time.

We will vaccinate the entire population of the state according to the vaccines received.
