Hyderabad: At least four shops were damaged in a fire in Kushaiguda here on Monday.
No casualties were reported, but property was damaged. Police found a fire caused a short circuit in a shop.
The incident occurred when the shop was closed. The fire soon spread to other shops.
Seeing the fire and smoke in the shop, the local people immediately informed the police and fire department, after which the fire brigade reached the spot and the fire was controlled in the operation which lasted for about an hour.
The value of the damaged property is not yet estimated.
