AIMIM worker murdered in Hyderabad, police suspect old enmity

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) activist Mohammad Amjad Ali Khan aka Asad Khan was killed in broad daylight in Mailardevpally area of ​​Hyderabad on Thursday. The deceased was allegedly involved in two murder cases.

Asad Khan, a resident of Achireddynagar, Teegal Kunta, Jahanuma in the old city, was blocked off by some attackers in the Vattepally area, which is a border area of ​​Hyderabad and Cyberabad.

Police said Khan was on his motorcycle when a group of individuals attacked him and attacked him with a deadly weapon.

During the attack, Asad Khan suffered multiple injuries to the head and body and died instantly.

As per preliminary investigation, it is revealed that Asad Khan was involved in two murder cases in 2008 and 2018. It is suspected that he may have been murdered by a rival gang.

The deceased was an AIMIM worker and participated in party activities. Mailardevpally police have registered a case and an investigation is underway and teams have been formed to nab the culprits.
