Hyderabad: Temperatures in Telangana are expected to rise further with the mercury level of the state touching new heights per day.
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials indicated that temperatures could touch 45 degrees Celsius in April and May. “The temperature will be above the normal limit,” officials said.
On Friday, it was 42.5 degrees Celsius in Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district and 42 degrees Celsius in Nalgonda thereafter.
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) director Dr K Nagaratna said the temperature would be between 46-47 degrees Celsius in some parts of the state and 42 to 45 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad.
Every year, the state receives rains or thunderstorms during March every year, but this time the heat is increasing in the season.
And we cannot anticipate relief in May as well and the temperature may rise in the next month as well. Dr. Nagaratna said
