Telangana state Intermediate 2021 practical exam postponed in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) postponed practical examinations for general and vocational courses of Intermediate Public Examination-2021 (IPE-2021). TSBIE Secretary Syed Omar Jaleel said on Saturday that due to the covid-19 epidemic, practical examinations of both general and vocational courses of IPE-2021 scheduled from April 7 to april 20 have been postponed.

He said that after the completion of the Theory Examinations to be held from May 29 to June 7, practical examinations postponed will be held.

Details of conducting practical examinations, issuing hall tickets, batches and timetables will be announced later. Meanwhile, sources in the state education department said that so far, it was decided not to allow any examination till the end of April 2021 in view of the growing cases of covid.

The SSC exams are to be held from May 17 to may 26. The education department has already given the necessary information sought by the state government.

The government will take a decision based on the input received from the Health Department.

Till now, there is no discussion held or any proposal under consideration for cancellation of SSC or Intermediate examinations, or, promote the students to the next class as it was done during the previous academic year.

The state government hopes to review the current situation in view of the second wave of covid cases in the state in the last week of April before arriving at any decision to cancel or conduct intermediate and SSC exams as per schedule in May,official said.
