Hyderabad: More than 45 students have tested positive for coronovirus at an orphan in Chitra Layout in LB Nagar.
All the infected persons have been sent to the isolation room on the ground floor of the orphanage.
Officials said about 100 children live in the hostel building and tests are being conducted on the remaining students.
On Sunday, 86 people tested positive after attending a wedding in Nizamabad.
Around 320 individuals are said to have attended the wedding and all of them were to undergo coronovirus testing.
In another case, 27 persons were tested in a village in Jagtial district, after which the village gram panchayat locked up.
