Hyderabad: City police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a tailor in Karmikanagar last week.
The arrested persons were identified as Syed Mohammad Ali 22 years old and the victim’s wife Rubeena 25 years old .
AR Srinivas, DCP (West) said that Syed Mohammed and Rubeena were in friendship for the last two years. The victim Siddiqui once caught him in his house with Ali. Siddiqui had beaten Ali, after which he complained against him. However, the suspect continued his relationship with Rubeena.
On March 28, Rubeena went to her parents’ house and resided there as part of a plan to eliminate Siddiqui.
On 30 March, upon receiving information about Siddiqui’s presence at his home in Karmikanagar, Ali went home at night.
“The man entered the house after removing an iron grill with the help of a screw driver. Once inside, he stabbed Siddiqui with an iron rod leading to his death. Later, he filled the body in the refrigerator and left the place, ”said DCP.
On a complaint by family members, the Jubilee Hills Police registered a case and apprehended Mohammad Ali with the help of available clues.
On questioning, he revealed his involvement in the murder with Rabeena. Both were arrested by the police on Tuesday and produced before court.
