No plans for night curfew in Telangana: Health Minister

Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender made it clear that there is no need to impose curfew or lockdown in the state.

However, he urged people to follow the coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines
The minister also said that the state government is taking standard preventive measures to control the spread of coronovirus.

Various government hospitals in the state are offering immunization as well as treatment.

He said that the Primary Health Centers are also managing the COVID-19 vaccine.

Appealing to people over the age of 45 to come forward for vaccination, he asked them not to believe the rumors.

He advised the public to wear masks, avoid mass gatherings, maintain social distance, and use hand sanitizers regularly.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is in regular contact with higher officials of the health department and district medical and health officials to monitor the situation, as the districts as well as Greater Hyderabad region rise has been seen number of COVID-19 cases in last 10 days
