Hyderabad: A fire was reported in a tyre godown under Afzalgunj police station limits. Police arrived after information, the fire was controlled.
On Wednesday afternoon, the public saw heavy smoke coming out of a tyre godown, where hundreds of tyres were kept. Panic spread among miscreants.
The flow of traffic was also affected since the gathering to see the fire extinguishers. 10 fire tenders were sent from various fire stations in Hyderabad to the spot and by the time the effort to extinguish the fire started, most of the tyres were burnt.
